Can you survive?

Summer Survival Camp

Coming to Mini-Cassia in Summer 2026, Sweet Sage Summer Survival Camp will give kids the chance to learn practical outdoor skills while staying active and having fun. Campers will explore wilderness survival basics, learn introductory first aid, and take part in a variety of engaging, hands-on activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

This day camp is designed for kids entering grades 3–8. Campers will participate in activities such as shelter building, fire safety and fire starting, compass navigation, archery, and more with lots of teamwork and prizes.

Why this summer camp?

As a parent of ADHD kids, I searched for summer options that were active and engaging. My kids loved hiking, exploring, and building-- no classroom atmosphere or cutesy crafts would cut it. The options I found that matched their interests were five or more hours away and too expensive.

This inspired me to create a hands-on, wilderness skill-building event right here in the Mini-Cassia area. I wanted to create something my kids would love and that would benefit the community as a whole.

Plus, who doesn't need some sweet survival skills?
